Introducing the Gundam Barbatos from the groundbreaking "MGSD" series, a new dimension of SD High-End brand that combines the technology of MG (Master Grade) with the SD Gundam framework!
Standing at approximately 115mm tall, the SD-scale rendition of Gundam Barbatos faithfully captures the iconic "Gundam Frame" features. The head and neck can be articulated in four axes, allowing for various dynamic poses such as tilting the chin or looking up towards the sky.
The Barbatos is equipped with a wide range of motion achieved by incorporating movable axes within the torso, enabling swinging from left to right and forward and backward tilting. The movement of the chest is synchronized with the expansion and contraction of the side abdominal cylinders. The shoulder connection utilizes a swing mechanism, enhancing the range of motion for the arms. The cylinder on the elbow moves in tandem with the arm, providing synchronized articulation.
Featuring the unique MGSD original gimmick, pulling down the lower part of the shoulder armor activates the linked expansion of the central armor. The knee armor moves in conjunction with the bending of the legs, while the armor on the back of the knee can move independently without hindering the leg's motion.
The twin eyes are created using a double-layer structure, combining intricately detailed internal parts with clear parts for a stunning visual effect.
MGSD original clear parts with precision-shaped processing, designed to efficiently reflect light, are employed on the chest, knees, and shoulders, introducing a shining technique.
The Barbatos also utilizes the "Real Metallic Gloss Injection" material in glossy injection molding, enhancing the metallic sheen on the fine details.
The backpack allows for mounting a sword, a 300mm smoothbore gun, and a mace. The 300mm smoothbore gun can be transformed into a storage state by extending the barrel and rotating it 180 degrees.

Swingable hip joints greatly increase the range of motion of the legs. Swing mechanism at the shoulder joints enhances the range of motion of the arms. Forearms are equipped with an extension gimmick, allowing the arms to be bent deeper.
Knee armor and vernier behind the knees are interlocked when bending the legs to ensure a full range of motion. In addition, the movable toes allow for a natural kneeling position despite being an SD.

Bandai's newest "RG" (Real Grade) 1/144-scale model kit of the RX-78-2 Gundam from "Mobile Suit Gundam" features a newly designed internal frame that's inspired by a semi-monocoque strture, allowing you to relive the construction of a Mobile Suit!
The joint structure has a new design in which the parts that look like joints bend properly by reinterpreting the movable axis. The legs are a reconsideration of the hand-to-hand combat-style Gundam, and use composite frame joints to have an outline similar to that of a human body in motion. Details are engraved on parts that are not visible from the outside, such as joints and the backs of parts.
It has a seamless design that eliminates conspicuous mounting holes and integrates it with the kit. The intricately colored head is molded in color; details have been added down to the smallest level, such as the twin eyes, main camera, magazine drum and cheek duct. Panel lines are divided into functional blocks, designed with the image of an actual dividing line in mind.
The exterior design is a fusion of the latest interpretation and a return to origins, not only by the addition of small details, but also by taking into account the overall shape of each part, such as the edges and curved surfaces. By composing the white body with two-tone molding colors, the amount of shading and information as a three-dimensional object is fully produced.
The Core Fighter can be transformed into the Core Block. In addition to reproducing the proportions of the Gundam's form, the newly developed auxiliary joint gimmick is built into the compact core block, contributing to the realization of free posing. As an RG-series original gimmick, the chest armor covering the cockpit opens and closes up and down.

Bandai Spirits unveiled the latest addition to their Gundam model kit line-up at the 62nd Shizuoka Hobby Show: the HG 1/144 Black Knight Squad Cal-re.A. This new model kit is inspired by the formidable mobile suit featured in the animated film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom," and is named "Cal-re.A," possibly referring to the mythical Garuda, a powerful deity in Hindu mythology known as Vishnu's mount.

It's equipped with the internal structure "Seed Action System" that specializes in reproducing impressive action poses from the show. The connecting shafts of the hip joints of both legs can be moved separately, and also slide up and down, allowing for bold action poses.

This model is a considerable enhancement over the old MVF-M11C Murasame, with improved design components, a better transformation mechanism, and the inclusion of the advanced SEED action system, which highlights its role in the anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom."
The Murasame Kai is the Orb National Defense Force's primary transforming mobile suit, and it plays an important role in frontline operations. Veteran pilot Mu La Flaga's personal unit was vital in a critical fight against the Black Knight Squad in the Eurasian Federation, making it one of the most dramatic uses of the Murasame Kai. Despite being severely damaged, Mu's Murasame Kai remained operational long enough to facilitate a critical evacuation, demonstrating its adaptability and battle ability.

Gloss injection is used for the black parts to pursue the contrast between biological and mechanical; the Desperado Blaster is equipped with a telescoping mechanism. You can also combine them as an Amplified original gimmick.
